Lady Giants played an incredible defensive game each time their feet hit the field. It is incredible to not only watch the games, see them come together and collaborate as a team, but to also see their competitive nature pour out of each of the Lady Giants. I am so proud of each of them and hope to see them again on the field next year!

This season, we have had 2 bonfires, October 3rd and 17th! Tons of fun, lots of pizza, cookies and other great treats. Its great to see the families come together and the girls invite their friends to spend time playing even more football and manhunt. We have to schedule one more bonfire before the snow is upon us. I hope to have that date real soon! The Giants are back and we have incredible new players to the team. I want to be the first to Welcome you to SVMFL Powder Puff Family. Our first game was on Friday, September 5th at 7:30pm, which began a lot later than anticipated, but that doesn't matter when our Referee Jerome is on the field - yes, he is the photo bomber! #Jerome! The Jamboree is scheduled for Saturday, September 6th with Open Ceremony at 1pm. SVMFL President George will bring all the teams together, introduce each of the Head Coaches and Team Mom's & Dad's, Board Members and of course the Cheer Leaders. All the above Team activities are to continue to foster teamwork, community service and friendships. Parents are greatly encouraged to attend all the activities!! * I will be ordering pizza for the Team and bringing drinks/cupcakes - $3 donations would be greatly appreciated for each player. ** I will be asking parents to donate snacks/beverages, as well as to join us for an evening of fun, games and prizes. I served wings/meatballs, bread, cupcakes, chips/dips, fruit and veggie platter, ice-cream, wings/meatballs, punch and water. I hope to do something a little similar this year too. *** Our end of season awards, pending whether we will the Championship or not, I will be hosting an awards night to recognize every Giants achievements and efforts during the season. Bertucci's has a wonderful buffet menu for such an occasion at an economical price - last year's price was about $12-15 pending how many attend. I will follow up on the cost for this. **** I combined last year's awards and Christmas gathering as one. This year, our Christmas Gathering is to get together, do some Christmas activities, do a Secret Santa and maybe some caroling in the neighborhood. Happy New Year's Everyone! Thank you Carol and Garry for opening up your home to the team! It was a good time to both the team and a couple of mom's. Today the Team gathered at my house once again. Our purpose was to do a few Christmas decorations for our families, eat dinner together, play a few games and even go out and Christmas Carol in the neighborhood. I took a few minutes also to recognize each young lady with this year's accomplishments, which were many even though we did not have such a success year. The Team was successful to respect each other, learn the importance of teamwork along with experiencing then one fails, we all fail, but we have to help each other up to keep going. I am proud of each young lady that was apart of the team and though a couple were missing, their were with us in spirit. I will try to organize a few other gatherings for the Giants to get back together before the next season. I wish you a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and I can't wait to see you next year! See you soon! Yes, the season is over :( - just we are just getting warmed up and getting a hang of our positions. Well, how does it go...all good things come to an end, but don't worry, we will be back next year!

Yes, we had our First Giants Costume Halloween Party! At the last moment, we invited the Packers, the Steelers and the 49ers. We did have a guest come and join us for our party and we are so glad we did! After this year's party, the Lady Giants want to have this every year and to invite all the teams to join in all the fun. The Costumes Apple Bobbing
